Food  Recipes for Ferret's

Bob Church's  Chicken Gravy

Ingredients

1 whole Roasting chicken

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon ferretone

1 cup ferret, mink or high grade kitten kibble

2 tablespoons fine bran OR whole oats OR Metamucil

1 tube Nutrical

3 or 4 eggshells

4 tablespoons honey

Steps

In a large stock pot we covered the chicken with water and par-boiled.

Removed the chicken from the pot, retaining the broth..

          Then we took  the chicken and put it on a
platter and broke it up so we could put it through the meat  grinder.

   We then used the meat grinder to grind up the
   bones and chicken meat.

   After we put it through the meat grinder, we do
it again - to make sure the bones are ground up
enough that it won't  block up our little friends.

  Then we put it back in the pot and added the
                 following :

            3 to 4 egg shells (only)
            1 tube of Nutri-Cal
            Olive Oil (1 tablespoons)
            Medamucil (2 tablespoons)
            1 cup of Kibble
            Honey (4 tablespoons)
            1 tablespoon ferretone

            Then you want to bring it up to a boil and let
it cook for  another 1/2 hour.

       Then you put it through a blender to puree the
rest of the ingredients until creamy!

Then the Mixture goes into a container
for  freezing.
