Lily & Jewel: Lily and Jewel came in as “vicious biters” who gave the
owner “6 stitches” and who bit her nephew bad enough to get “12
stitches.” They haven’t bitten anyone here all that bad. They’ve each
put a few holes in a few people, but never more than 2 holes, and
certainly nothing that needed stitches! We think they just didn’t like
where they used to live. They’ve gone to a foster home and have been
behaving very well there. They love N-bones, running through dryer
tubes and hiding just about anything that isn’t nailed down. They love
where they are living, they love each other, and they’re quite happy
with their life as it is now. They’re getting older now, and trying to
find a home for an older, nippy ferret is just about impossible.
